JANOME offers two types of Servo Press Systems namely :-

 

  1. JPS SERIES SERVO PRESS SYSTEMS (SLIM LINE DESIGN)
  2. JP4 SERIES SERVO PRESS SYSTEMS (HIGH MOTOR OUTPUT) FOR MORE HOLDING TIME

    1. LOAD PRECISION: Load sensor accuracy is ± 1% of maximum pressing capacity (for more than 10% pressing force of maximum capacity)

    2. REPEATABILITY: ± 0.01 mm

    3. TEACHING PENDANT: This is easy to carry compared to traditional PC / Laptop making convenient for maintenance team. Of course the programming from PC / Laptop is well possible.
       

    4. FIELDBUS COMPATIBILITY: Controller has inbuilt Fieldbus available. The Fieldbus types are Devicenet, Profibus, CC-Link, CAN Open. Profinet protocol is under development. This reduces the external PLC card in the architecture in turn saving the cost.

      1. JANOME lineup ranges from 500 Kg up to 20T with short & long strokes.
      2. Clean room compatible models & High Motor out specifications are available.
      3. Absolute OR Incremental type encoder type presses are available as an option.
      4. Additionally & importantly Pressing OR Pulling type load cells are available as an option.

    6. MOTOR ENCODER OUTPUT & LOAD CELL OUTPUT: This is very distinct feature of JANOME Servo Press Systems, wherein we can get the direct output from LOAD CELL in the form of Voltage & from MOTOR ENCODER in the form of Pulse.

    7. LINEAR ENCODER INPUT: This is an optional feature wherein we can get the feedback from externally connected Linear Encoder for the actual position of the Ram in addition to the position feedback from the MOTOR ENCODER.

    8. HOLDING TIME & REPEATIBILTY FOR JP4 SERIES: In JP4 model we can hold the ram in position after pressing operation is completed for 999 seconds for the applications with the pressing force up to 60% of full scale value. For JP4 Series the repeatability of the press is ± 0.005 mm.

    9. JP PC SOFTWARE: JANOME PC Software is divided in three different modules as under:-
       

      • JP Designer
      • JP Sampler
      • JP Reporter

    10. CALIBRATION: During the Load Cell calibration, the results received from the Press Load Cell are compared with the results received from the Master Load Cell. The comparison is done in the JP Software & the offset is setted without manual intervention.
